Champions earn the most rewards, therefore they are hard to make. Many
models that have been made show a path way, or a flowchart of how champions are
really made. For example, Garge's model suggests that champions can be born
with the talent within them. A chance that they came to life that great
potential of being big champions in their future. Of course, the model then
explains the next stages of that youngster. Another model made by two people
from Canada says that sport organizations pick those with great talent when they
are young and then invest in them. For example, weekly training or special
health care and attention. The last model is made by Yuro and it says that
youngsters often in their early stages of their life, start practicing four
sports. Later, the youngster lets off two sports and focuses on the other two.
And eventually, after putting efforts and hard work he becomes a champion!
Reflection:
I think that this course can be really helpful for sport organizations and
businessmen. For example, some football clubs pick talented young players from
villages of some part of the world and give them the appropriate training. We
can see some of them now being champions and successful. I think the Canadian
model explains this very well. As a student, I honestly do not feel that I benefited
from this course other than general knowledge, as this course focuses on
youngsters and I am way past that stage and already found my hobby or favorite
leisure activity.
